Apply here to be followed
Follower is a service that provides a real life follower for day. In order to be followed, you answer two questions: Why do you want to be followed? Why should someone follow you? If you are selected, you are given an app to download, and you wait. You don't know when it will happen. The following lasts one day. At the end, you are left with one photo of you, taken by your Follower. The Follower stays just out of sight, but within your consciousness.
The IKL invites Lauren McCarthy to apply her project in Luxembourg for all volunteers, who want to realize the experience of being followed. Because what is the relationship between attention and surveillance? You can apply to be followed a whole day (9 am–5 pm) during the period of June 19–23. On June 24, 11 am, you can meet the artist for the finissage at Rotondes 1, Place des Rotondes, L-2448 Luxembourg.
